Wellbeing Vision for Carrick on Suir MD
Tipperary PPN will bring community groups in each of the 5 Municipal Districts in Co Tipperary together to develop our vision for Community Wellbeing for This and Future Generations in Tipperary
On the 22nd October 2019 Tipperary PPN brought community groups in the Carrick on Suir Municipal District (MD) together to develop a shared vision for community wellbeing in this area.
Through this meeting and an online consultation community groups were asked what their aspirations were for the community for generations to come.
Responses were under the headings of:
- Social and Community Development
- Participation, Democracy and Good Governance
- Values, Culture & Meaning
- Health (Physical and Mental)
- Work, Economy & Resources
- Environment & Sustainability
are listed in the consultation document which can be found attached below. These contributions have formed the Draft Vision for Community Wellbeing in the Carrick on Suir Municipal District.
This guiding Vision will inform the work of our PPN Representatives on county policy and decision-making bodies as well as supporting the development of our Tipperary PPN Strategic Plan. (Specific issues raised through this process will be referred to the relevant PPN Representatives).
Member groups are now invited to comment on the Draft Vision for Community Wellbeing if they wish using the online form
or respond to us by post to Tipperary PPN Thurles Chamber Enterprise Centre, Nenagh Rd, Thurles, Co. Tipperary
Responses should be received by 6pm on the Wednesday 18th December 2019.
